Introduction

Pollux is a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering from Veducon. It provides unique functionality before, during and after deployments of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). It also provides a single source of truth of the status of networks both for technical and business-oriented people.

Pollux supports cloud managed network devices and network connect devices such as cameras and sensors.

We value the privacy and security of your data. In this privacy statement we explain which data we collect, how we use the data collected and which rights you have pertaining to your data.

What data do we collect

When using Pollux we collect the following data:

• Network configuration data such as VLAN settings, IP addresses etc.
• Information for accessing cloud integration (API keys, Tenant ID’s, Client Secrets, etc.).
• Contact information of location managers and Pollux users (e.g. names, phone numbers, email and function).
• Video surveillance data from cameras. We do not store video data locally and only access the footage via the cloud upon a pre-configured authorization process.
• Ambient sensor data like temperature, humidity etc.
• Location information from the Organization / subsidiary (e.g. location names, addresses, logos, status, etc.)
• Information about clients / devices connected to the network (e.g. client / device name, description, status, IP address, mac address, manufacturer, operating system, status, physical location, etc.).
• Incident / change information (only with managed services) for e.g. incident / change description, caller name, attachments included in the change / incident, etc.

 

How do we use your data

The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Deploying, managing and optimizing networks.
• Displaying, for authorized users. Information such as mentioned above.
• Allow location managers to view video surveillance data after proper authorization.
• Facilitating communication and coordination with location managers.
• Enhancing the functionality and performance of Pollux.
• Advice / suggestions on how certain things can be improved.
• Improving user experience and analytics.

We will never share your data with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
